ESCRIBA is the system house for the digitalisation of data and document-intensive processes
Our roots lie in the digitization and automation of documents and contracts in the HR environment. This history is reflected in our technology stack ESCRIBA EDS/EIS and in the NLC based HR suite. We have completely redesigned our technology for document generation and automation, which has been established on the market for 20 years, and consistently oriented it towards No-/Low-Coding. This makes document generation available as a standalone system and as an extension module for platforms such as AgileApps, ServiceNow or SAP HANA and Salesforce. We combine the strength of digital workflows and case management with the full power of object-oriented document generation. This is what makes ESCRIBA so unique in the market.
In recent years, we have evolved from a one-product company in the field of document creation to a platform provider with a variety of products and solutions (multi-product company). Today, we build applications using No- and Low-Coding technology and digitize data- and document-intensive processes. The technical basis is usually Software AG©’s AgileApps as API manager and NLC platform for web applications as well as our ESCRIBA technology stack for document creation. As strategic partners, we continue to develop these technologies together and are constantly expanding the scope of performance and functionality.
We believe that all companies need to become software companies in the medium to long term if they want to survive in the market. We believe that NLC will be the key technology in this process. This is the reason for our change and our business model.
We focus on B2B and B2B2C markets and offer pre-packaged solutions that can be adapted and extended quickly and easily via no-coding and extensively via Low-Coding. Not least for data protection and compliance reasons, we operate the platform in Germany.
In den letzten beiden Jahrzehnten haben wir unsere Software – die ESCRIBA Document Services – kontinuierlich mit unseren Kunden weiterentwickelt und sind heute Technologieführer im Bereich Dokumentenerzeugung und -automation. Für uns war es deshalb nur folgerichtig, die Document Services NLC-fähig zu machen und um eine leistungsstarke elektronische Akte, ein adaptives Case Management und ein vollständiges Business Process Management System zu erweitern, die alle selbst natürlich auch dem No-/Low-Coding Paradigma genügen. Damit bieten wir heute eine vollständige NLC-Plattform für das Management von Serviceprozessen sowie die Digitalisierung und Optimierung von daten- und dokumentenintensiven Prozessen.
ESCRIBA steht für mehr als 20 Jahre Erfahrung und über 300 Projekte bei namenhaften Unternehmen aus DAX und MDAX sowie der öffentlichen Hand. Als deutscher Anbieter begleiten wir internationale und globale Projekte, kennen und verstehen aber auch den deutschsprachigen Kultur- und Rechtsraum. Unsere Erfahrungen spiegelt sich nicht nur in der No-/Low-Code Technologie, sondern vor allem in den Inhalten, die wir mit ausliefern, wieder: von umfassenden Leistungskatalogen über voreingestellte Prozesse und Service-Level-Agreements, zugehörigen Kennzahlen, Reports und Dashboards bis hin zu mehrsprachigen Dokumentinhalten und Texten, die unserer Kunde sofort nutzen können.
In 1998, Dr. Juergen Erbeldinger laid the foundation for ESCRIBA by founding E&E information consultants AG.
The ESCRIBA brand emerged from a consulting mandate from Commerzbank AG and developed into an independent software for digital document management in the early 2000s. After Commerzbank, which is still an ESCRIBA customer today, KarstadtQuelle (today Galeria Kaufhof Karstadt), Deutsche Post /DHL followed as early as 2005, then PWC, Audi as well as BASF in 2006. Today, we are represented at most DAX/MDAX and many Swiss and Austrian companies.
Since 2007 Jürgen Anneken is CFO and co-owner of ESCRIBA AG. With the decision to focus on new No-/Low-Code technology and digitalization, the circle of founders was expanded in 2018 to include Jens Rohnstock, Steffen Kuehn and Christian Rathgen.
