No-code/low-code almost on the same level as classic development

NLC is an integral part of companies that develop applications themselves

Are you already one of the almost 50% who are already using low-coding technologies?

Whereas last year, according to the first “No-Code/Low-Code” study, the figure was still 39.7%, in the past 12 months there has been an enormous increase not only in interest in the topic of no/low coding, but also in the willingness to use it in the company. This also reflects a key finding of the “No-Code/ Low-Code” Study 2023: no/low-coding platforms are now almost on a par with classic development. Combined with artificial intelligence, the topic is more relevant than ever.

In a joint study project with CIO, CSO and COMPUTERWOCHE, more than 380 IT managers, decision-makers and specialists were asked about their experiences with no/low coding technology and projects – and the results also allow exciting conclusions to be drawn for you and your company. Did you know, for example, that you can counteract the shortage of skilled workers by using no/low coding technologies? About the study

In the study “No Code / Low Code” conducted by Research Services by Foundry (formerly IDG Research), top (IT) decision-makers of companies in the DACH region were interviewed in an online survey. In the period from July 4th to July 11th, 2023, a total of 386 completed and qualified interviews took place with strategic (IT) decision-makers in the C-level area and the specialist departments, IT decision-makers and IT specialists. ESCRIBA is one of six study partners.

No-code/low-code use: the curve points steeply upward

71 percent of respondents expect no-code/low-code deployment to expand, in some cases significantly, over the next three years. HR work will also be even more data-driven in the future and will continue to include administrative activities. Being able to react ad hoc, flexibly and without great effort must become the standard. HR Service Management based on a no-/low-code platform closes the digitalisation gaps and opens the way to agile, self-determined work.
